Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her the city she grew up in after her birthplace. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father was from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder believes she is Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder as well as her entire family relocated to Mendocino County in California, when Ryder was just seven. The town didn't even have electricity. The books on television were Ryder's only distraction for her time, and she became an avid reader. Ryder aged 12 took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. Lucas The film from 1986 that she was in, was her debut major character. Ryder was only fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress could make a difference. Unfortunately, that did not occur. Still, she pursued her dream. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big breakthrough. Ryder went on to have success in roles. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her role on The Age of Innocence (1993).
