Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25, 1942) was an American actress, voice-over actor and writer. She amassed more than one hundred credits in her almost five decades of career. Pleshette is a native of New York and began her acting career on stage. Then, she made the gradual shift to the screen. The most notable films include "Rome Adventure", "The Birds', "Fate is the Hunt' It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium,' and 'Support Your Local Gunfighter'. Her TV roles and films also had a variety of roles. There were four times that she was awarded an Emmy Award as well as the two Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette was nominated to win the Laurel Award twice and won the award in 1963 when she was in the movie 'The Birds. Pleshette was laid to rest in 2008. She received the Star on her death at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
